What is the Parenting the Intensity Retreat?
A 3-day virtual event for parents of emotionally intense 5-12yo kids
The Goal:
That parent learn how to navigate conflict with their emotionally intense kids without losing control
So they can connect with their child and foster a peaceful family dynamic
What’s in it for you, the speaker?
Grow your
email list
Although there’s not clear data on the subject, speakers could expect around 2-5% of the summit participants to signup to their email list (so the more people register the better it is for everyone)! You will be able to offer a free resource that participants can signup for to grow your list.
Build lasting collaborations
I’m a fan of real collaborations that are not only transactional. So there will be a lot built in the summit for YOU too, so that it’s easy to build collaboration, starting with a Slack channel you can join now, live meetings, collaborations opportunities, etc.
Connect with the participants
I want you to get as much as possible from the summit too, so I encourage you to connect with the participants in the Facebook group. There will be dedicated tread for each of you and you are welcome to post useful informations and direct people to your freebie (no other links please other then in your intro post)

Bonus gift guidelines & recommendations
You can participate to the DEEP CONNECTION PASS by including a paid product of yours that will be offered for free to the participant of upgrade to the paid access
Why participate?
- You get one more chance that the participants will give you their email address
- The participants will be exposed to a paid product of yours so they can sample your work
Guidelines
- It needs to be relevant to the retreat topic and participants (parents of emotionally intense kids and connection, conflict, communication, regulation, etc)
- It needs to be a product you normally sell (no freebie as a bonus) for $9 or more
- You can add a bump or tripewire to the bonus, not more then one please
- Participants should be able to signup for your bonus product without entering their credit card info
- Products included as bonus will be selected based on their relevancy to the topic and audience
- It can’t be a 1:1 offer as we are hoping for many 100s of people signing up and it would not be viable for you
- Participants who get that free product needs to be treated as you do any other client
- If a coupon is needed, make sure they can redeem the bonus until March 31st (they will have until March 30th to signup but we want to give a little wiggle room to avoid time zone trouble as much as possible)
Tech & Funnels for your bonus gift must be ready by Monday December 16th 2024

Speakers Promotional Schedule
Promotion period: February 10th to March 1st 2025
The success of this event is based on everyone's participation
So by fairness for all, it would be appreciated that you send 2 emails and post on social media at least twice (and share in stories as often as possible 😉) and of course any other mention and promo will contribute to increase registration.
I encourage you to be creative in the way you share and talk about the retreat and to collaborate in your promos with other speakers of the event. It could be a great way to develop wonderful collaborations that can go beyond this event. True collaborations are the best kind!

The (not so fine) fine print
There will be a speaker agreement to sign, but just so you know what you're getting yourself into, here's the short version
Intellectual property
- Your presentation stays yours, you can do whatever you want with it starting 3 months after the summit is over
- I keep the rights to use your presentation indefinitely as part of the retreat. Small parts could be used to promote it even after the retreat
- The transcript of the presentation or an adapted version could be use as a guest blog post on my blog if you agree to that separately
- You guarantee that you own the copyrights of the entire content of the presentation and of your freebie
- With that in mind, please don't use any logo or images of another company on your recording (like a Disney t-shirt for exemple) as that could be considered copyright infringement
Inclusion and judgment free zone
- There's no one right way to parent. I ask that anything you share in your presentation, you share it as a suggestion to inspire and not a prescription to follow, parents are the first experts of their kids and family and can choose what works for them and leave the rest
- Judgment free zone: I am a huge advocate for not judging parents, no matter the situation
- Equity, inclusion and diversity are not just pretty words but core values that are very important for me, this is a safe space for people no matter their origin, orientation, identity, abilities or any other differences.

Signup as an affiliate
You can get 50% commissions from sales made of the retreat Deep Connection Pass by people you send to the registration page
I will also be launching my membership through the summit, so you’ll get 50% of the membership when people you sent to the registration page register for the membership and get it monthly as long as they stay a member.
Submit your presentation and free ressource
You can submit them earlier then the date if it’s ready, I encourage you to so you can sit back and relaxe for the holidays.
We need them early to make sure everything works and we are not running last minute, you know how it is with kids, it’s always when we are running late that they get sick!

Meet the host
Hi I’m Anouk,
I’m a mom of 3 (wonderful and) emotionally intense kids, I have a master’s in social work and I’ve been supporting parents of kids with all kinds of special needs for 15 years (and that’s also how long I’ve been a mom!).
I now support parents of emotionally intense kids for whom nothing in the “general parenting advice” seems to work so they feel confident in trying different things that fit their kids’ needs better.
