Live conference February 28th at 1pm ET
Calm your family to make the changes possible
We'll do practical exercises to see through all that you learned so far, focus on your key takeaways and decide on your next action steps so you don't leave the retreat feeling more overwhelmed than when you got here.
I'll also offer you a way to keep the support and encouragement you got during the event to keep the energy, motivation and momentum, even (especially) when things are hard.
With: Anouk Brière-Godbout, Retreat Host
Prompts from the conference/workshop:
- Why did you join in the first place? Note it down
- Is there one presentation, one free resource, one Deep Connection Pass ressource, one tip or comment that helped answer that main reason why you joined? Nothing will solve it all of course but is there one thing that made you feel: Yes! That! That’s (part of) the answer I was looking for. Note that down.
- Is there one thing you learned that blew your mind or resonated deeply (even if you don’t really know why). Note it. Then go back. Read it again, listen to it again and take it in more deeply. It’s ok to let other presentations on the side to go back to those that truly resonated. Explore that speaker more, follow them on social, subscribe to their podcast, download their free ressource and, if you have the DCP, get their bonus. If you resonated with them or something they said they might be one of the right people to help you. Not everyone is the right person for us, you have the right to chose who and what you listen to and it’s one of the great thing about an event like this one, you get to discover new resources.
- Then ask yourself: Why do those things resonate? Note it down
- And are all those things about your child? If so, was there something about you, for you too? If you only focused on your child you missed an important part (if not THE MOST important part of the event) go back to the roundtable of the 18th, the kick-off about the nervous system, regulation and coregulation and the presentations of the 2nd day (Less Conflicts - Stay Calm to Not Add Fuel to the Fire) and explore those, I will never say it enough: working on YOU being able to stay regulated is what will have the most impact as if you’re dysregulated you won’t be able to help your child or apply any real changes.
- Go back and ask yourself the same questions but about yourself: what were YOU coming for in the event, for YOU.
Closing Call March 1st at 7pm ET
What I covered:
- Moving forward with what you’ve learned and making an action plan
- How you can give feedback
- Using the Deep Connection Pass
- Winners for the Calming the Intensity Community membership and other prized have been be announced
Presentations are still available until the 2nd at 9amET
